From the available documented evidences it is confirmed that surgeries were first of all done in Ayurveda on this earth. Surgeries on pregnant women are one of them. During delivery or pregnancy if foetus cannot come out on its own through natural procedures, then it is extracted surgically.Mudhagarbhais the foetus which is not able to deliver naturally. It may be due to loss of energy of woman during labour/anatomical defects/mal-presentation of fetus. Surgery is done only after confirmation of death of foetus or mother (she may be on verge of death) otherwise it is not done. It is advised to take consent of guardian before surgery to prevent any defamation. The surgery required is done without wasting any time. Post-surgical procedures are followed with extra precautions than normal delivery.
